Did The "Strong Mayor" Effort Form This Corporation?

Filed on April 9, 2012, the Articles of Incorporation show that three separate City of Homestead Advisory Board Members, Dr. Josef Von Laurer, Vielka Dyer and Greg Wells were named as officers of the Committee For A Better Homestead. Dr. Von Laurer serves on the Pension Board, Ms. Dyer serves on the Community Relations Board and Mr. Wells serves on the Crimewatch Committee, they were all appointed in 2011 by Mayor Bateman.

The specific purpose of this corporation is to develop and recommend policies, procedures, projects and initiatives to improve the general functioning of the City of Homestead's government and the quality of life of it's residents.

Let's hope this three-headed effort doesn't burn the City of Homestead with the "Strong Mayor" nonsense. We could end up like Tokyo did in all those Godzilla movies.
