The list is courtesy of the SFWMD Public Records Office. All candidates are listed and eight of those made it to final interviews, Mayor Steve Bateman was one of the eight. Michael Worley was the successful candidate for the position of Superintendent.

Why is he trying to get a job if he is a successful businessman?  

Bateman and Purrinos after the same job, maybe they should have let them go at it like rock 'em, sock 'em robots. So ironic they end up in the same place.

City Manager George Gretsas attached it to the New City Hall Special Call Agenda held on September 24, 2012.

Mayor Bateman and former City Manager Sergio Purrinos must have known the committee completed their study and knew the results but kept the information to themselves.

Two PACs run by Frank May, one with Jeff Porter and one with Tom David paid a combined $61,171 in 2009 and 2010 to Al Lorenzo and his firm now embroiled in controversy surrounding current elections. Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and State Attorney Katherine Fernandez-Rundle have had to disassociate with the firm and recuse herself from the investigation into absentee ballot fraud respectively.
