Zoning Gone Wild? Transfer Station and Assisted Living Facility

This week the Homestead City Council will entertain converting a hotel on North Homestead Boulevard (U.S.1) to an Assisted Living Facility and allowing a Transfer Station (recycling) in a NW Homestead neighborhood. Properties are located at 1020 N. Homestead Blvd. and 138 NW 9th Avenue.

Should it be this easy? Barrels and bulk scrap metals may be some of the items recycled. Food for the ALF will be provided by Mario's Latin Cafe.
