6,000 Students, 288 Teachers Part of Wayne Rosen's Plan for Park of Commerce

Posted on 12:40 by Unknown

Above and below are other things we should all thank Wayne for.

The documents indicate traffic on the eastside will get a whole lot worse in the next couple of years. Have you seen the havoc created at Keys Gate, Everglades, Gateway, Campbell, Waterstone and Homestead High Schools in the morning and afternoon of each school day?

In the not too distant future 6,288 people, according to documents part of council approved land use package, will be making the daily trek to the PoC for their education prospects outlined in the accompanying papers. $6,000 per student multiplied by 6,000 students equals $36,000,000 annually.

Do not look for a traffic study, not there, wonder why?

Why Did Mayor Bateman Keep This Report Hidden For 29 Months?

Posted on 11:44 by Unknown
Committee completed their work in April of 2010, report finally made it to the public in September of 2012.

City Manager George Gretsas attached it to the New City Hall Special Call Agenda held on September 24, 2012.

Mayor Bateman and former City Manager Sergio Purrinos must have known the committee completed their study and knew the results but kept the information to themselves.

Why would the "transparent" mayor condone such behavior?

November 2, 2012, Annual State of the City Address @ Keys Gate Golf and Country Club, Did You Get Your Invite?

Posted on 09:00 by Unknown

See the squandering of tens of thousands of dollars, pretend to listen to the ramblings of the Mayor and clock watch the seemingly never ending program.

If it is anything like 2011, perhaps GITMO detainees can be transferred to Homestead where the confessions will be forthcoming after the first introduction.

Last year dessert was served after 75% of the attendees had left the Champions Club to make their way back to work or home.

A timekeeper is a prerequisite to this event and if you choose to attend you do so at your own peril. With any luck 5 Hour Energy will be on tap at the bar.
